Privacy Policy — Talknotes for Ministry

Last updated: July 19, 2026.

Summary: Talknotes for Ministry is built with a local, offline architecture. The developer does not operate proprietary servers that store App data or content and does not possess copies of your notes, drawings, imported files, exported files, backups, or decryption passwords. You control and delete this data on your device or at the external destination you select. Only the minimum data needed for purchases and restorations may be processed by Apple, Google and RevenueCat under their respective policies. Messages voluntarily sent to the contact email are used only for technical support and privacy questions.

1. Scope and controller

This Policy explains how the Talknotes for Ministry application (the “App”) handles information when you install or use it, make or restore a purchase, import or export files, transfer content between devices, or contact support.

The party responsible for processing related to the App can be contacted at lab2hub@gmail.com. Talknotes for Ministry is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Jehovah’s Witnesses or any of their legal entities.

2. Information processed

Category Examples Purpose and processing location
Local notes, drawings and settings Titles, subtitles, text, formatting, categories, favorites, handwritten drawings, presentation profiles, timers and preferences. Creating, editing, organizing and presenting content. This data is normally stored in the App’s local database and files on the device.
Imported and exported files Documents selected for import, extracted content, file names and metadata, and documents generated in export formats. Importing content into a note or generating a requested file. The App may create temporary or persistent local copies. After export or sharing, the external copy is controlled by the user and the selected application or recipient.
Local network and Bluetooth Nearby-device discovery, local network address, session identifiers, App version, data-format version, and content selected for transfer. Finding a nearby device, checking compatibility, and transferring or synchronizing data when initiated by the user. The App does not use this feature for advertising or location tracking.
Purchases and access rights Purchased product, purchase history and status, transaction dates, restorations, store receipt or token, App customer identifier, and technical data needed for validation. Processing, validating and restoring purchases, granting the “TalkNotes for Ministry Pro” entitlement, preventing errors or fraud, and providing purchase support. Apple or Google processes payment; RevenueCat assists with validation and entitlement management.
Technical data Platform, operating system, App version, product identifiers, store environment, and purchase-related diagnostic information. Compatibility, diagnostics, security and purchase validation. Purchase data may be used for aggregate analytics about functionality and commercial performance by RevenueCat, depending on the configuration actually used.
Support communications Email address, subject, message, and attachments or diagnostics voluntarily submitted. Responding to requests, investigating issues, and retaining a service record when necessary.

3. Locally stored content and absence of developer access

The App’s main operation is local. The developer does not operate proprietary servers intended to store App data or content and does not automatically receive that content merely because you use Talknotes for Ministry.

  • The developer does not have servers containing your data or the App’s local content.
  • The developer does not possess a copy of your notes or drawings.
  • The developer does not possess a copy of files that you import.
  • The developer does not possess a copy of files that you export, including files used as backups.
  • The developer does not possess copies of passwords, passphrases or keys used to decrypt confidential notes. The developer therefore cannot recover a forgotten password or decrypt that content.
  • Local data is deleted by the user on the device. The developer cannot remotely access or delete notes, drawings, files, backups or passwords.

Content leaves the device only when you initiate or authorize an action, such as exporting, sharing, transferring data directly to another device, including content in a support message, or allowing the operating system or a service you select to create a backup. Any resulting copy is controlled by you and by the selected application, device, recipient or destination service—not by the developer.

You are responsible for the content you record and for obtaining appropriate authorization before entering, importing, sharing or transferring third-party personal data, confidential information or protected material.

4. Purchases, Apple, Google and RevenueCat

iOS purchases are processed by Apple and Android purchases are processed by Google. The App does not receive or store your complete payment-card or other payment-instrument details. The store may provide the App and RevenueCat with transaction and validation data such as the product, purchase status, purchase and restoration history, receipt or token, store country or environment, and relevant dates.

RevenueCat is used to manage in-app purchases and the “TalkNotes for Ministry Pro” entitlement. Depending on the configuration used, the SDK may generate or use an anonymous App customer identifier. That identifier need not contain a name or email address, but it allows purchases, restorations and entitlement status to be associated with the same customer. If the App later offers account authentication or account-based synchronization, an account identifier may be linked to the purchase record to restore access across devices.

Purchase history and status may be processed for App functionality and for analytics relating to product performance, paywalls, conversion, restorations and purchase-flow reliability. Talknotes for Ministry does not use this information for behavioral advertising.

Please also review the providers’ policies: Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.

5. Local network, Bluetooth and nearby devices

Direct transfer or synchronization features may use local Wi‑Fi, peer-to-peer connectivity, Bluetooth, or nearby-device permissions. The App may exchange the minimum technical information needed for discovery, session establishment, version checks and data-format compatibility. User-selected content is transmitted only to perform the requested operation.

Depending on the Android version, Bluetooth or nearby-device permissions may be grouped by the operating system with location permissions. This does not by itself mean that Talknotes for Ministry collects your precise location. You may revoke those permissions in device settings, but the corresponding functions may stop working.

6. Backups

The App may allow you to generate files for use as backups, and local data may also be included in device, Apple, Google or other backups configured by you. The developer does not receive, store or retain copies of those files or backups. They remain on the device or at the destination selected by the user. The developer does not control the retention, encryption or deletion of copies maintained by the operating system or third-party services. Deleting the App or a note may not remove copies that you previously saved elsewhere; you must delete those copies at the corresponding destination.

7. Disclosure of information

Information may be made available only where necessary:

  • Apple and Google: purchase processing, records, restorations, refunds and administration;
  • RevenueCat: receipt or token validation, entitlement status, purchase history, support and purchase-system analytics;
  • a recipient selected by the user: when you export, share, transfer or synchronize content;
  • email or hosting providers: where needed to deliver support or operate this public page;
  • authorities or third parties: where required by law, a valid order, protection of rights, safety or fraud prevention.

We do not sell personal data and do not use the content of notes or drawings for behavioral advertising.

8. Legal grounds and purposes

Depending on applicable law, processing may rely on performance of the requested service, compliance with legal obligations, establishment or exercise of legal claims, fraud prevention, legitimate interests in keeping the App secure and operational, or consent where required. Purposes include providing features, storing preferences, carrying out requested transfers, processing and restoring purchases, providing support, correcting failures and complying with legal duties.

9. Retention and deletion

  • Notes, drawings, settings and decryption passwords: remain only on the device for as long as you keep them. Deletion is performed by the user through the App’s controls, the file manager, system settings or uninstallation.
  • Imported files: the developer does not possess a copy. Local copies remain on the device until deleted by the user or the App.
  • Exported files and backups: the developer does not possess a copy. They remain on the device, service or destination selected by you until you delete them there.
  • Purchases: Apple, Google and RevenueCat may process and retain purchase history and status, an anonymous customer identifier, and the minimum technical data needed for purchase, validation and restoration under their own policies and obligations.
  • Support messages: exist only when you choose to send an email. They are used only for technical support or privacy questions and may be retained for as long as necessary to respond and document the support interaction.

Because the developer does not receive or retain copies of local content, there is no developer-server copy that can be erased upon request. To delete App data, delete it directly on the device. Exported files or backups stored on another device or service must be deleted by you at that destination.

The email address lab2hub@gmail.com is provided exclusively for technical support and privacy questions. It does not allow the developer to access, recover, decrypt or remotely delete content stored on your device. Do not send passwords, passphrases, decryption keys, complete receipts or sensitive financial information.

Deleting App data does not cancel a purchase or automatically erase minimum purchase records retained by Apple, Google or RevenueCat. Those providers may process data needed for purchases and restorations under their own policies and controls.

10. Your rights and choices

You directly control the App’s local content and may review, change, export or delete it on your device. Because the developer does not retain copies of that content on proprietary servers, the developer cannot remotely perform requests to access, port, recover or delete notes, drawings, files, backups or decryption passwords.

The contact email is used only for privacy questions and technical support. Local-network, Bluetooth, nearby-device, file and notification permissions can be controlled through system settings. Backups and external files must be managed through the corresponding service or destination. Purchases and restorations must be reviewed or managed through the App Store, Google Play, or controls made available by those providers and RevenueCat, as applicable.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the App, including data minimization, local processing and security mechanisms supplied by the operating system and stores. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your device with a passcode or biometrics, keep it updated, and review content before exporting or transferring it.

12. Children and third-party data

The App is not designed to deliberately solicit personal data from children. Parents, guardians and organizations should supervise use where appropriate. Do not enter third-party information without authorization or another legitimate basis.

13. International transfers

Apple, Google, RevenueCat and infrastructure providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence. In such cases, processing is subject to the safeguards and policies applicable to each provider and relevant law.

14. Changes to this Policy

This Policy may be updated to reflect changes to the App, SDKs, providers, stores or law. The update date on this page will be changed. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or through another appropriate channel.
